August is here and it's time to set a new goal for August. I am struggling with the work load and I am hope setting myself a goal to get me back on track. There is a lot of work to do and with me hosting our Anything Goes retreat at Burra next week, sewing time will be precious time at the machine. So what I am going to do is set myself a goal that doesn't require a machine. I have 3 quilts that need binding only to complete them, so that is my goal.
We specialise in patchwork and quilting, small projects to large projects for beginners to advanced skill levels. Cynthia's Ark runs regular weekly workshops on a variety of projects and techniques. We would love to have you join us on this crazy fun adventure.

One Monthly Goal - June's Report
Here we are at the end of the month. Where did June go? I set myself to the task of finishing this quilt. See my original post here,
It seem not a lot was done in June but I can say I did complete this quilt.
I am not sure how or when I did it but it is completed and hanging up in the shop. It is a shame the panels and half of the fabric from this range has already sold out. I am too slow sometimes, too slow. Then again the customers have seen me working on this project over the last 12 months has inspired them to get in early and purchased what they need to create their own version.

Anyway it is time to get back on track. This week has seen me did a little of sewing.
i did a little more on this section of my Coral Reef.Another sample coming along for our Christmas in July workshops
I spent another evening on finishing the binding on this quilt. On Saturday I put the binding on this one along with some secret sewing.I wonder what I will be stitching next week.

One Monthly Goal - June's Goal
Here we are in June already. Time to pick this months goal.
I really want to complete a project on my UFO list but don't have a lot of time this month. I had a quick look at my list and there is a panel quilt on it that was at quilting stage. I have done the quilting, so it only needs binding to complete it. That is it for this month.
I have linked my post up with Elm Street Quilt Goal setting post, so pop over and check out what everyone is up to this month.

One Monthly Goal- May's Goal
Things are crazy here and I want time to work on my unfinished projects but it is not working out for me. So I am set myself a goal that hopefully will be achievable in the sense I need to do it before the next workshop to stay ahead of my students. So far this year I have been doing ok with this one, so I am planning to keep it that way.
So that plan for May is to join these sections together.
That is an easy task I hear your say and yes it is, only 16 seams to sew. That is only part 1 of my plan. I also want to complete the next section which has two section in it. It is the spikes that run along the joined sections.
So there is a bit of work in this month's goal. Though it was tempting to only set the first part for the month. That would have been really cheeky of me.

350 Block Project 2021- March's Report
This month's total is 31 blocks.
I have had a great start to the year. I know that there will be months that will be quiet sewing wise, but for the moment I am happy that I am ahead of the game.
This month I completed the 28 more Four Patch blocks add sashing and a border to complete my Dust off a Quilt book project for a total of 30.

One Monthly Goal- March's Goal Completed or Not
This month I set myself the goal to finish the last 6 American Honey blocks. You can find my original post here.
These are not small blocks and they take a bit of time to make with 20 pieces per block. So you have to make the sub blocks first lay out your block before you can sew the block together. Well in the end I didn't make it. I did get 3 of the blocks completed. That is at least half of the blocks done.
You may see this one pop up in my challenges again soon. These blocks are so beautiful. I can't believe I have not finish them as I love every block when I complete it.Until Next Time

One Monthly Goal -March's Goal
March is here, February didn't go as I planned but that is life. So onward to a new goal for March. This month I was thinkng to pick a project off my unfinished project list and then had second thoughts on that idea. Is it too big an asking for March?
Then I changed my mind a picked a project on the list that still needed blocks to complete it. My American Honey quilt still needs 6 blocks , though the blocks are large and I could stop right now and still have a large quilt in the end. The only thing stopping me is the fact I have cut the fabric for the last six blocks. I don't like to waste fabric.
Twelve of my fourteen blocks are pictured here. So that is my goal for this month, six more blocks to finish my twenty.

One Monthly Goal -February Completed?
I had two quilts to bind this month. Here is my original post with all the details. That is all I set myself for February. A task that really should have been achieved. In theory it should have been completed but in my world things always go a bit haywire, things don't go to plan, something else gets in the way and so on.
In the end I got just over halfway through February goal. One quilt was totally completed.

My Stitching Snapshot #8
This week hasn't seen as much sewing as I want but there was some progress. hough my weeks never have as much sewing as I want. Sunday had me doing some Quiltworx homework. Another section nearly completed, which I did complete on Monday.
Tuesday had me working away on these four Patch blocks for Dust off a Quilt Book Blog Hop.
Wednesday I finally finished the binding on my motorbike quilt in the evening in front of the TV.
No sewing on Friday I did a little bit of cutting but that was it. So Saturday afternoon I managed to start this section of my Coral Reef quilt.
These are the projects that I was working on this week, as always there is plenty of other projects waiting to be completed and started. I am never without a project or two.

One Monthly Goal February Goal
We have reached February already and it's time to set a new goal for the month. I thought I have this one covered, a couple of quilts will need their binding added. The thing is I haven't yet picked them up for my long arm quilter Valerie. So how do I do a goal setting post without any pictures on hand of the quilts. I know one there is no picutre but the motorbike one I swear I took a couple of pictures. Checked my computer- no luck, checked Blogger I must have posted an in progress picture during the making- no picture either. New phone so no point checking there. Not on my tablet either. So i wait until I pick them up and realise there is actually 3 quilts that will need binding. I am only putting two down for this month's goal. Here they are my motorbike panel quilt.
I have shared my post with Elm Street Quilts goal setting post, so pop over and check out what everyone is working on this month.
