There is a week before the Barossa Craft Fair and it is now official I am behind the 8 ball with 2 very important jobs. First is this wolf wall hanging that needs to be delivered finished and the display board with all my round blocks for the English Paper Piecing demo. The wall hanging is pieced and needs to be quilted and bound.
The Demo board still needs more round blocks to fill it and I need to remove the remaining Octagons that are still on it. Which reminds me they need to be sewn into a quilt top soon, maybe over the Christmas break.
I can say I have been busy so it's not like I have been lazy or out partying. I always have my special Christmas present offer which is Spend $30 or more on my stall and receive a Christmas present. This does take a lot of work.
Plus this year I have a stack of shop samples that are no longer needed and I thought they would make a great addition to the stall as they would make great gifts for those people who aren't in to sewing and are out doing their Christmas shopping. There is cushions, quilts, table runners and a few other items.
Of course I have the 2018 Quilter's Companion diary in stock which will be on special at the Fair too.
Just maybe there maybe something else on offer but you may need to attend to get the scoop of that one.

Salisbury Craft and Hobby Fair Round Up
At the weekend I attended the Salisbury Craft and Hobby Fair which I have done for over 10 years. Things sure have changed in that time. Some good, some bad. That is life you take the ups with the downs.
I have a real soft spot for this event it was the first big fair I tried. So even with attendance down over the last couple of years I still have gone to sell my wares. One of the things I love about this one is my spot. I am along a wall with a railing high enough that I can hang quilts along. This year I had the beautiful Pemberley Quilt (on loan to me) hanging there. She was eye catching to put it simply. There centre stage you couldn't miss her.
There was plenty on offer but fabric was the most popular.
Of course this little giraffe Raff was a big hit. So I have kitted it up with the pattern so you can make one yourself in this colourway.

A few English paper piecing demonstrations using some of month #1 fabrics from our All Over the Octagon Fabric Club.
Thomas was popular with the kids that all the panels sold out leaving 3 kits only. They are part of the Quick Quilts series.

The Stitches and Craft Show-Day 1
Today was the first day at The Stitches and Craft Show in Adelaide and this year I have teamed up with Kate from A Quilter's Odyssey. A case of helping each other out. We started the day both running late due to traffic problems and two different problems. So we had to hit the ground running, no time for our planned coffee. We did get it just a little later than planned. A very interesting day and there is going to be some great projects being made by very crafty people out there.
Here is a couple pictures of the stand.

I will take a few more pictures tomorrow. Hopefully the start of the day will go more smoothly and I can get in and snap a few more pictures for you.
