December's 350 Block Report

Our final report for 2017.  This month total is 17. I am not going to make the total this year but I promise myself I will sew more in 2018.

Plus I managed to join the blocks in this quilt together and add 3 more to this month total..

1 block on my Forget Not Me quilt. There is still 4 more to piece before I finish this section and I can move on to the next section.

8 blocks  completed from On Ringo Lake quilt along. Plus there is more sub blocks ready to sew together to make more of these blocks.

This month's Total is 57.

This mean my total for the year is 311 blocks. 

So I didn't quite make it in 2017. On a positive note  there is a stack of half finished blocks that will give the 2018 total a boost at some stage. They have not been appliqued to the borders and had their centres added which completes them so I have not counted them yet.

November's 350 Block Report 2017

This month's total is 27 blocks.


Somehow I have not done enough sewing this year and reaching the 350 Blocks for the year is not looking good with only two months left in the year.

This month I have managed the following.

Round We go blocks. 3

8 blocks framed Four patch blocks, 6 triangle filler block and 4 sashing units for this bonus class sample quilt from this month mystery class I run. 18 in total.

This month total is 31 blocks.

October's 350 Block Report 2017

October total is 32 blocks.

We were on retreat  for the first full weekend of October and the plan was to do lots of sewing. So I had big plans thinking I would be pumping out loads of blocks as I had to projects cut that needed piecing.

Well I was wrong I didn't get no where near to what I thought I was going to get done. The perils of being the organiser of the retreat. I think? Well I hope that is what happened, as the other option of just being lazy is not acceptable.

I did finish the rest of these blocks. There is the full blocks 24 blocks completed and 12 set in blocks completed with 8 sashing rows for a total of 44.

I did start on the Four patch blocks for my Row Quilt. At the moment there is 10 blocks.

This month total was 54 blocks.

350 Block Report- September's Report

This month's total is 42 blocks.

1 round block.

In my defence I have been flat out with retreat preparations which I hope to get a ton of sewing done next month when we are away. Also I have been doing preparations for next month's Ruler Quilting demo and workshop for the Jubilee Quilters. So lots of quilting happening. Now maybe a few projects may get completed if I am quilting. Does that sound reasonable.

I did squeeze in one more block for this month. A test block for a new project

This Month's total is 2. Only 40 short this month. How does that happen.

350 Block Report - August Report

August 's total is 16 blocks.

Two blocks for Scrap Dance Tango project then sashing added, making it a total of 3.

3 more for the Gypsy Wife quilt. Plus I sewed the remaining 8 sections together. Total of 4.

3 Christmas blocks for this year's Christmas Caroling Row Along. Sorry I can't share any pictures at this stage. A little sneak peek.

2 chubby dresden flowers for  another pincushion.

Plus a little simple table runner for a retreat project which I can't share at this stage. So 1 more to the total.

This month total is 17. I made it.

350 block Report 2017- July's Report

The target for this month is 29 blocks.

I am glad to say some sewing has happened this month.

24 blocks for the next stage of my Gypsy Wife quilt, blocks are done. Here comes the hard part sewing them all together.

I pulled out my Scrap Dance Tango project to finish so 2 more blocks for this one, but I need to look up the pattern as I am not sure if this layout is correct.

Two chubby Dresdens flowers that became a pin cushion for a workshop.

 

Borders went on a large wall hanging for 1 more.

Then some major assembling on the Gypsy Wife quilt I have counted each section I sew together as 1 toward my monthly total.

So 5 more as I have completed 5 sections 

One Round we go block

 Fingers crossed I can keep going during August with more sewing. 

So my total is 35 for this month.

350 Block Report 2017- June's Report

This month total is 38.

After not reaching the total for the last few months it is time for some serious sewing. Even though a couple of sewing events have not happened, I am going to sew up a storm of blocks this month. That was my plan at the start of the month.

2 Star blocks for my Pemberley quilt

1 set of apple cores sewn together for a feature block on a bag.

3 blocks sewn together for a table runner so 1 more. They are sewn together but no picture.

2 more dresden plates  half blocks created. All blocks are now completed ready for the table runner to be assembled.

6 blocks for my Gypsy Wife quilt which I should of finished but are no where near finishing.

I have done some half flowers for one of my Pemberley borders but they will not be complete until I applique them on and add their centres so I have not count them at this point of time but at least you know I have been working on something more than the above.

Still not very good is it? This month's total is 12  Really that is pitiful. I can't believe it. There must be a mistake. No mistake I am afraid.
 TIme to ask the sewing gods for some sewing time.

350 Block Project - April's Report

We have reached April already. This month Total is 29 blocks.


Once again I'm off to a slow start, Mad March has continued into April. This what have I managed to sew this month.

1 Octagon block

1 block out of 3 for a shop sample that will be a table runner from Michelle Yeo's Victorian Lace pattern. I wish I had the time to make the whole quilt.

9 blocks from the Gypsy Wife.

6 flower blocks

2 spool blocks

I have to admit there has been other sewing but I don't think they count in this list, like hemming my husband work pants.

 So my total is 19 this month.
