I have been struggling over the last few weeks with my back which is limiting my time sewing. This has really frustrate me. So I have picked the times I sew carefully. I managed to pin my Anzac Day Quilt but the other will have to wait either for my back to heal or until I get help. I have had to keep the quilting simple with just stitching in the ditch. I really wanted to finish this quilt before the Laura Folk Fair as I wanted to have some kits available for sale. Anzac Day is the 25th April so if anyone want to make one they will really to get the pattern and kit ready to give them time to make it up. If they are making the same size as mine it is only a weekend project to complete it.
The fabrics I have used in this quilt are all available in store and online at
Cynthia's Ark if you are interested in any of them. Plus I have put this pattern under the Tutorial tab here as it is a great little pattern if you have a feature print for the framed blocks. Just perfect for a I Spy quilt.
I haven't got a better picture of this quilt finished. I didn't realise I hadn't taken the final picture, before the quilt went to a new home.
This project is also my
April One Monthly Goal project to complete. So I have done well to get it completed, considering it is the only thing completed this month. Pop over to

Lovely design and appropriate fabrics; I love the poppies. I was talking to my brother yesterday and he intended rising early this morning to attend the Dawn Anzac Memorial Service in Canberra which he said is a moving ceremony.
