Christmas in July Then and Now Blog Hop

Welcome to my day on the Christmas in July (Then and Now) Blog Hop. I need to thank Carol from Just Let Me Quilt for host us and keeping us in order. Here is the full schedule, drop down a few chimneys, checkout what's surprises are under trees while sampling Santa's milk and cookies.                                            July 27

July 28
Cynthia's Creating Ark (You are here)

July 29

July 30

July 31

I thought I would make this project it would be perfect for this blog hop.

It finishes at 20" so I thought it is a nice size.

The sections pieced together before the applique. Put a circle in the middle and I think it would be great just like that.

Now I haven't had time to quilt it but I will before Christmas. The applique was a bit challenging for me as I don't do a lot of applique. I hope you enjoyed visiting today and enjoy the rest of the Blog Hop.
Until Next Time
Keep Stitching
Cynthia

That is really pretty! Such a unique design, and the white looks great on your background fabric!

What I love about this beautiful piece is that I thought you had done 2 separate snowflakes. I don't know which I'm drawn to more, with or without the petals. Either way just stunning.

Your snowflake is so pretty! I'm not that good at applique I'm afraid so I'm happy to admire yours. Thank you for having us in for a visit with you.

So much work for a snowflake. But you got a beautiful snowflake that won't melt soon.

I really like your table topper. I does look a little complicated, I'm not much into applique I find it rather challenging. I hope you will post again once you've gotten it quilted, I'd love to see it.
