One Monthly Goal for March

It is March and it is time to set this month's goal. There was only one choice for me and that is to finish February's goal. I did make some progress but I didn't make it to the 18 blocks I set myself.

I had 18 blocks left to make which I did manage to complete 9. So this month I need to complete the remaining 9 blocks. The ones I have completed.

They are cut out, so I need to sew them together.

2018 350 Block Report- February's Report

This month's total is 14.

What did I make this month?
1 block for the Places We Go bom January's block.

5 more love hearts for a new project.

7 more Four Patch blocks

2 tiny Star blocks which I can't share a picture at this stage (Its a secret) Visit my blog on the 7th March for the Small, Smaller, Smallest blog hop to see it.

February Places We Go Block was made.

Lastly I managed 9 more Desert Sky blocks.

So I managed 25 blocks. That is nearly a block a day for February.

Places We Go- February's Block

Here we are nearly at the end of February and here is this month block completed.

This month I have used pink for my colour. It is a machine pieced block this time. It is going to be good to have a variety of techniques over the 12 months.

 I did have a little printed check that happened to be the right size for the sashing strips which would of work perfectly if I started at the centre of the block rather than the outside of the block. You can see my part block on the left side of the sashing that has stuffed the whole effect up. I did the right side correctly and it worked.

So when I have a few spare minutes I will unpick it and fix it, but for this post I am willing to share that I am only human with you.
