I have a set of these Westalee Heart rulers I have been wanting to play with and no enough time so I thought I would make a little runner for myself. I spend a lot of time of stuff for other people but not for me.I thought I would send some hearts my way.
I kept it simply as I have been very busy.
I spray basted my three layers together and used the lines on the fabric to set my template on.
The hearts are very effective. and a easy template to use. I can see myself getting distracted by reading the sayings on this side. Wait there is more on the other side too.
Make the rounds and have a look at what others have made featuring hearts.

That's a great idea. I've been putting my machine on an old cutting mat to keep it from ruining the FW table where it sits. This would be perfect! Thanks for talking about the rulers, as I've wondered about them.

What a great idea. I'm always finding my sewing supplies falling on the floor. I don't know about keeping the runner under your machine though...the fabrics and the binding are just so fun, I might want to keep it out and look at it all the time. LOL!!
I have to agree with Joan that the runner is way too cute to hide under the machine. I love the fabrics you used and how happy they look in your runner. Lol, I love the funky binding. An old boyfriend used to chuckle every time I said funky, told me once funky was not a word and had to look in the dictionary. Guess what he found?
