Here we are in the third week of this fantastic Row Along. A big thank you to Marian for organizing this annual event.This is the fifth year it havs been running. this year I love we have different size block we can work with. The quilts when made up could all be very different depending how one lays them out.
We must thank all our sponsors too as it wouldn't be the same without them, especially Northcott Fabrics for sending us all some fabric to use in our blocks.
My choice for this one is Rapunzel. I started with an applique idea which then took a turn to the left when I thought it would be a fun idea to do the block in a stitchery form. I took the most recognisable scene from Rapunzel, Rapunzel looking out the tower with her long hair draped down the tower.
I only used a couple of stitches a back stitch for the tower, dress and face and stem stitch for her hair.
