One Monthly Goal October's Report in

Well I had two projects that needed binding to complete them. See my original post here.  An easy goal for October I thought, even though one of the projects is large.

The small one was completed but the second one had the binding sewn on ready for the hand sewing but I have not touched it since I did it.

Two things got in the way and threw me off my target. Though I have to admit I am easily distracted. The weather was the first thing we have had 2 weeks of extreme heat for October. Yes we are warming up, leading into Summer here in South Australia, but temperature around the 40 degree(100 + for my northern hemisphere readers) is a little much even for us. Who wants a large quilt on them when it is that warm.
The second reason was my Vintage Rose quilt has come back to me from being quilted, so I was distracted by it and decided I need to finish that one too.

It is huge too, so once again it was the last thing I wanted my lap.

So I think you will be seeing these two quilts again very soon.
I have linked my post with Elm Street Quilts, so pop over to see how everyone else went.
Until Next Time

  2. What a pretty distraction! I'd want to get this one finished as well!
