Today see the start of the Welcome to my House Blog Hop. A big thank you to the awesome Carol from Just Let Me Quilt for hosting us and inspiring us with her Blog Hop themes.
The one thing all our project have in common is a house had to feature in our project somewhere.
In my project I have a neighborhood of homes in my Welcome to my house wall hanging. I have been focusing on small projects for the Blog hops. Plus in this project I pulled out the scrap box for my Four patch pathway rows.

My house blocks are made in two sections, the roof is a flying geese block and the house is the house with a rectangle sewn on each side. Then you sew the two halves together to complete. Really simple.

I adore your project. I'm glad you explained how you made your house. Sometimes we quilters overthink a project and just have to make something difficult out of something that can be simple. That's a very clever house. I love house quilts and I like the other blocks that you used with it. Thanks for participating in the hop.

ReplyDeleteI love houses and made a mini house wall hanging several months ago for an exchange. I plan to make my own mini wall hanging as my partner didn't finish the exchange. Love all these house ideas.
