June Long Weekend

It's the June long weekend here. Normally you would find me at the Salisbury Craft Fair, an event that I have done for over 20 years. With the virus restrictions, we are not allowed events that big to go ahead. I must admit, it does feel a bit odd not being there.  That means I am in the shop all weekend. I had big plans for getting in lots of extra sewing, finishing my Paradise in Bloom homework, sewing my test block for the It's a Garden Party Row Along in September and maybe starting my Broken Daisies project all cut out ready to sew.  I have go this far in my Paradise in Bloom homework, so you can see I am not going anyway fast.

Though the sewing is not happening, that doesn't mean I have been lazing about doing nothing. Orders have been going out, customers have been in the shop, lots of cutting happening for BOM, Clubs and kits.
Plus we have set dates for two new Workshops in August.
on Sunday 9th August we are running our Double Wedding Ring Workshop which we ran a couple of years ago and updated our shop sample using batiks. You can make a table runner, Table topper, bed runner or you can start a quilt. Workshop fee is $60, Rulers and Fabric are extra but you will receive a 20% discount when you are purchasing them through the shop.

The other workshop is on How to make Pineapple Blocks. We have a few samples to show you different looks. This workshop is on the Sunday 30th August. Workshop fee is $60. Rulers and fabric are extra, but you will receive a 20% discount when you purchase them through the shop. This one is filling fast.

Remember our workshops are still small due to the restrictions, so book early to avoid missing out. Call into the shop or ring me to book yourself in.
Don't Forget to check our Workshop page here on the blog regularly for updates to the schedule or on our website.
Until Next Time
Keep Stitching
